So, you mean to say that this is happening with only one of the dimensions?
If yes, then delete the XML file of the dimension in UJFS t-code. Then delete the dimension file from your local system in the My Documents -> PC_NW folder. And then try to do the formatting.
Alternatively, you can try running the UJA_REFRESH_DIM_CACHE.
